IRAQ ! When will people EVER realise you can't defeat terrorism with a conventional Army ?

Equally you can't defeat an idealogy , a way of life or a culture with tanks and planes and so-called smart bombs (tell that to the Afghan wedding party). Vietnam , Northern Ireland , Somalia , France in WWII , Palestine/Israel , Spanish Basque separatists , Kurd Nationalists in Turkey etc etc etc.
