What causes shriveled brown leaves on a Bhut Jolokia pepper plant?

I have a Grow your own Bhut Jolokia pepper plant in my dorm. It is a few weeks underway, but the leaves are starting to turn brown and crunchy at the tips. What causes this? over watering, to much sun?
