Why is the female body so funny?

I had a girlfriend who thought like you. I read that a lot of women in general dislike having a female body, that their get in the way. That's maybe true for you and your gender, but why do men artist always seem to like using women as their subject? Women's are often considered to be an exquisite shape, and what is really appealing is women's soft, beautiful skin. To me men just have a utilitarian body that has the same shape it did when it was 5 years old.
