What should I give my boyfriend for his birthday?

His birthday has past, actually. I forgot about it, because I went to Europe, and he - to his grandma in Florida, and, though technically we are going out for 21 days, we have never been on a date. I haven't seen him for the last twenty days, because I left to Europe the next day after the Non-Denominational Winter Dance, when he said that he loved me. I had been in love with him for 8 years, and he didn't know! And now I forgot his birthday, but when we talked on the phone, he was very sweet about it. So, I want to get him a late birthday present. My friend Tina's mother said that if you go out with a boy for 1-4 months you give him a sweater. She should know, she was a model, a jet setter and once dated a sultan, but, I mean, it is so unromantic, a sweater! My grandmother said candy! Candy for a boy!
