What is the quote at the end of public enemies........?

ok so when Dillenger is watching manhatten melodrama in the theatre before his death they show a scene where i think clark gable is talking to a guy in his prison cell and i want to know what he said but i can't find it anywhere. I checked imdb.com and they don't have it. Its sounds like "die the way you live and don't drag it out" but i don't know somebody pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee help
