United States in the Middle East?

The answer is no the United States should not keep its military presence in the Middle East. Every world power (empire) that has maintained a direct presence in the Middle East has fallen. The Greek Empire, The Egyptian Empire, the Ottoman Empire, the Persian Empire, the Roman Empire, and the British Empire have all fallen as a result, and the list goes on and on. It hasn't been hundreds of years, it's been thousands of years. The Middle East has been the point of contention since the dawn of civilized man. If the United States wants to survive and maintain its status as a world super power, then it needs to get out of the Middle East.
