I keep violently coughing?

I keep violently coughing, I've been taking Glycerin to try and stop the coughing. My throat isn't actually sore and feels fine but I just keep coughing, I hunch over because of the coughing and also my stomach gets a clenching feeling. I doubt its swine flu because I have no other symptons. Any advise or help please?
