Discrepancy between photo camera an telescope??
Take your camera and put it into manual mode or exposure compensation mode. What may be happening is that the camera meter may be overexposing the moon, washing out detail. So do a "negative" exposure compensation or choose a faster shutter speed, either of which will cut out light and reduce the brightness, giving you more detail. You may also need a "moon filter" on your telescope to help provide more contrast. The human eye is very good at dealing with light; camera sensors, not as good, which explains why to you it's clear but to the camera it's not. Finally: use the camera self-timer to reduce vibration. Simply pushing the shutter will cause tiny vibrations, reducing image clarity.
